We are one of the largest sets of Chambers, so are able to offer a comprehensive yet specialist service to solicitors and clients. We aim especially to represent some of the more disadvantaged members of society, and are committed to legal aid work. Chambers extend these commitments to other areas of the country. Our areas of practice include: Criminal Law: a service is offered at all levels, and in all tribunals, including Magistrates' Courts, Crown Courts, Court Martials and appeals to the House of Lords and Privy Council. Civil Litigation: including personal injuries and medical negligence, immigration, contract, civil actions against the police and employment law. Family Law: including domestic violence and matrimonial proceedings, and matters relating to the welfare of children; Landlord and Tenant and Housing: including possession proceedings and actions relating to disrepair, statutory nuisance and homelessness, including judicial review; Public law: in addition to judicial reviews arising out of other specialisms, members offer expertise in immigration, social security, inquests and in environmental law.
